We journey through Outer Space with the Smeds and Smoos to visit a whole host of new planets each with their own species and unique habitat. Shocked and suprised to find their grandchildren have flown away the Smeds and Smoos have no choice but to fly off, together in the Smoo’s blue rocket to bring them home. They miss each other so much that they decide to fly away in a rocket! However, Janet and Bill fall in love because of their differences not in spite of and meet in secret to play together. Bill is a Smoo and he’s blue! The Smed’s drink tea but the Smoo’s like pink milk! The Smed’s have funny hair and the Smoo’s have funny shoes!! We had so much fun reading the brand new story from Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler. Colourful, clever, engaging, witty and fresh. ![]()
